Senior Director of Business Development & Partnerships

Prior to joining Mission Driven Finance, Marquise served as the Regional Director for San Diego & Imperial Small Business Development Center Network, where he led a network of nine service locations that provided counseling and training to small businesses. Marquise has an MBA from CSUSB and a BS in Physics from Benedict College. Marquise has a background in technology commercialization, market research, and economic development. A student of science, Marquise thinks it is interesting to observe how slight changes in technology, the economy, and knowledge can disrupt the landscape for businesses. Marquise says physics is the study of motion and what best describes him is being a student of the motion of business. Marquise is enthusiastic about building strategic partnerships and fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration that leads to expanding the village that supports the business ecosystem.
