David Ritcherson

Community Finance Fellow

David Ritcherson was born and raised in South Central Los Angeles. From an early age, his mother and grandmother instilled in him the importance of education, economic empowerment, and community service. David’s career has been rooted in these values. Over the past ten years, he led grassroots movements to advance racial equity within the UC system, worked as a teacher in marginalized communities in Los Angeles, Atlanta, and Shanghai, and recently served as the director of operations for a small business on a military base. David is excited to continue his commitment to social change by joining as a Mission Driven Finance Community Finance Fellow. He hopes to utilize his diverse personal and professional experiences to bring a new perspective to impact investing. David received a bachelor of arts in economics and comparative ethnic studies from the University of California, San Diego.
