Farah Velasquez
Capital Strategy Associate
Farah is a first-generation college graduate and the daughter of Mexican immigrants. Driven and inspired by her Los Angeles and Inland Empire roots, Farah is focused on social impact, capital strategy, and economic equity. Her background includes experience within private credit, education, nonprofit, and corporate spaces. Throughout her roles, she has served and learned from underestimated communities and leveraged intersectional tools for economic development. Her goal is to use inclusive finance to create transformative and liberating change.
She obtained her BA in English literature from UCLA, minoring in Chicanx and labor & workplace studies, and also holds an MPA with a finance concentration from USC. In her free time, Farah enjoys traveling and spending time with her family and her dog, Luna.
