Risa Keeper

Senior Director of Structured Finance

Risa comes from the CDFI space, most recently managing a $23 million catalytic capital portfolio and fund administration services for Community Vision Capital & Consulting. With over 20 years in the nonprofit sector and more than 10 as a professional dancer and acrobat, she brings a unique combination of financial expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, community-mindedness, and lateral thinking.

Before joining Community Vision, Risa was finance director at Social Venture Network, a membership association of socially responsible business leaders and impact investors. Prior to SVN, she led a legacy yoga training center as deputy director. She has also served on many nonprofit boards and committees, most recently for the SF Wholesale Produce Market and Garden for the Environment.

Risa is a fifth-generation San Franciscan and Waldorf mom of three with a personal mission to use her privilege to advance systems change for BIPOC communities. She has a BA in sociology from UC San Diego and a master’s in library science from San Jose State.
