Thai Nguyen has over 13 years of experience in investment management, with a focus on operations, fundraising, and product development. Prior to her role at Mission Driven Finance, Thai held various senior positions with VinaCapital, one of the largest investment and asset management firms in Vietnam. In her most pivotal role at VinaCapital, Thai was managing director of a start-up division within the larger group. In this role, Thai led the team to build the business from the ground up and raised over $100 million of new investment funds. Prior to working and living in Vietnam, Thai was a management consultant, working at both the Hay Group and Monitor Group (now Monitor-Deloitte). Thai has a BA from Harvard University and an MBA from Wharton.
